final blog spot yew!!!!!!!! week 15

this is my final blog for the year. i enjoyed the course as it really opened my eyes up to so many things i didnt no existed. there is alot of things behind the scenes that really interested me quite alot.I really liked learning how to write html. also learning how to link html and css, as well as implementing some design was pretty neat. to be honest i'm glad i changed degrees and started studying media production. ok i learnt about API it's an apllication programming interface it turned out that it was just practicaly sharing data. we also did mashups during the year which i havent really understood yet. but i think it's got heaps to do with a thing called pipes.

i havent really had much traffic on my blog. i think i put daown to not really getting out there and reading others. i had one follower on one of my posts. it probably is my best post. i no that my blog compared to others is that great, but i only done it as i had too. i reckon with a bit of time and effort i would of had alot more interaction with other blogs and bloggers.
i can honestly say that before i started blogging my perception of it wasnt that great, but now iunderstand how useful it really is... it covers so many different area's, like social networking to acedemic analysis and everything in between......

production B week 14

hey all

yeah i'm getting there on my project so far. it's not that hard to place all my markers and add photo's and hyperlinks. it is sort of frustrating that some of my lines dont stay on the road or lead to where i want them too. so far my story is about a bloke called ted who go's out after he punted his rent money on the horses. he go's out to civic to drown his sorrows. it's just a gag story i thought would make people have a laugh at. creating a google map is good for people who are travelling. also it could be used as a networking tool with other travellers or something. i had a lil trouble with properly linking my photo's so they wouldnt get pulled down. with a lil bit of fooling around i figured it out pretty quickly. im pretty sure that i killed it, and a pass is in order

production project B week13

hey.....

this week i started to really think about my project B i have changed my mind and gone with the easier option and chose the google maps story. i thinking of doing a drunking night out story so far... i have no idea how to do it as of yet. i'll wait till my tutorial and ask my tutor. i pretty sure im not that illiterate i hope. i doubt i can just knock it together and it will be done, this might take some time.... i'll get back to youse

data dat everwhere...... week 12

well this week we looked a data visualization, it's pretty interesting really... i didnt no that you could portray data with sexy looking stuff. it is amazing some of the designs that people have come up with. i wish i could be as creative as those people, it's cause ima lazy... i found a few interesting sites, especially this on i found that was a chess board that showed ll posible moves and the moves the computer would likley take. was pretty interesting i thought. just imagine the time and effort it would of took. also the brains that whent into it ,gosh, to just wake up one day and be like yup im going to make this is pretty impresive...

random thoughts week11

hey all

well i'm kinda taking a liking to this whole blogging thing. at first i was like "why" this is so crap. but now it's getting interesting.. i no ive been keeping it simple but looking around other peoples blogs they can end up looking awsome.... i sorta am thinking to myself that blogging is like an online journal... except not private... other than blogging today i checked out twitter and some other networking type stuff. twitter is kinda fun, you only get a headline that is word limited witch keeos things short and witty. i checked out so many more but there was endless lists of networking sites ,spaces etc....... this whole thing is just huge i cant imagine where it would stop......

where to now week 10

hey all.....

well this week i was sick so i didnt attend any classes, aw well. but i did have a think about my producrion project B. i think i might do the data vizulization.. it seems hard and i actully want it to be, a bit of a challenge never hurt anyone... i might do it on my day to day activities.... it seems to be interesrting as you can portray your data with some clever looking designs.

late problems with porduction A week7

hey... yeah well last week i felt real confident that i could easily finish my project, but no it's not allways that easy... i was reading through my post and realized that i actually didnt have much of my own work.. so i decided to add just one more blog with my knowledge and would just hand it in anyway... i fixed a bit of the lay out to make look a bit better and more understandable.... i would say overall i'm happy with the project. i hope that i get good marks for it, even though i didnt realy take care in it .

production project A week5 where i am so far

hey ive been working on a project that involves creating a blog that expresses and shows my understanding of blogging. the subject is on the 100 years of rugby league. at first i tried to make a web site on the subject but kept coming up short. i seeked help and found a simple blog with a few posts was the easiest way i could finish my project. in doing so i have learnt how to add quotes into my blog and also how to properly add links into my posts. also adding pictures was so much easier useing a blog than trying to make a web page. i have one or two posts to go up and then i'm done. hopefully ive met all the criteria for this project.

ALSO WE DID MASHUPS WHICH I HAVENT REALLY GRASPED.. BUT I NO IT'S GOT SOMETHING TO DO WITH PIPES. WHAT I SEE IS THAT IT SORT OF PUTS TWO THINGS TOGETHER LIKE TOMATO AND TOBACCO= TOMACCO AHAHA..
I SHOULD OF LOOKED MORE INTO IT BUT MEH.. WAS A LIL BIT OVER IT AT THE TIME... I'LL KEEP POSTED WHAT I FIND OUT ABOUT THIS....

hey. I forget to go to this lecture so i am left out of the loop here. Dont worry i did a lil of my own research. well html is all you need to put content online. its basicly the internet and what you see is what you get more or less. my understanding is that if you link html to css it basicly just makes it look really good. there are multiple designs for css which gives you alot of layouts for your html.

I dont really no how to write html but would be pretty awsome to learn how. also learning how to link html and css, as well as implementing some design would pretty neat. i might have ask google or something like that to show me how to write html and that.

to be honest i'm glad i changed degrees and started studying media production. as i currently work in broadcast i have realised that there is so many differnt things i havent yet heard about.

hey. finding blogs seems so hard at the moment. I wish everything was a little easier, but should actually be easier with experience. I am still coming to terms with this whole blogging lifestyle. I dont understand why the need to let everyone no whats happening in your life etc. but to be honest i am actually liking this. I am hoping to find some blogs that are interesting to me.
